I like to spend some time in Mozambique
The sunny sky is aqua blue And all the couples dancing cheek to
cheek Its very nice to stay a week or two And maybe fall in
love just me and you.
Theres a lot of pretty girls in
Mozambique And plenty time for good romance And everybody likes to
stop and speak To give the special one you seek a chance Or maybe
say hello with just a glance.
Lying next to her by the ocean
Reaching out and touching her hand Whispering your secret emotion
Magic in a magical land.
And when its time for leaving
Mozambique To say goodbye to sand and sea You turn around to take a
final peek And you see why its so unique to be Among the
lovely people living free Upon the beach of sunny Mozambique. |
Hi Bob,
Why not come to visit Mozambique again.

The news and downloads published on our site are not brought to you from the capital Maputo or one of the province capitals with fairly good working and living conditions. Our new offices are situated in the small village Massaca, in the southern district of Boane. Like in many other places in the rural areas of Mozambique, water is still a precious, luxury good for the resident population. The supply of energy is often break off, the roads awashed in the rainy season, the rate of unemployment is high, many people have problems with literacy and are mostly not informed about Aids. Many reasons to build our offices right here. By promoting musicians and bringing beautiful sounds from Mozambique to you, we are also able to support projects for the benefit of the local community, like the Aids education project INFO MOBIL, the building of a Training Centre for local sound engineers and the International Music Festival MOYA. We will publish more information about these and other projects regularly.
Many thanks for your welcome visit, downloads and comments.

| "Moya" means air, spirit, soul in the local changana language. Since the end of the war in 1992 Mozambique is underdoing a change. Decades ago the capital Maputo was one the hottest music spots in Southern Africa, now the city is pulsating again with a vibrant live music scene. The Moya-Festival will be part of it, inviting to set out on an inspirational journey. Held annually in October, the Festival will feature a broad spectrum of music and will offer long missed opportunities to change experiences between artists, music journalists and cultural activists from various countries. The Festival is member of the IOFA Indian Ocean Festival Association. The inaugural edition will be held from 6 to 8 October 2006. For more information please write to: moya@tdm.co.mz
